Sluice gates are commonly used to control water levels and flow rates in rivers and canals.
Our highly skilled engineers have
years of experience in Design, Manufacture, Installation, Inspections and Surveys, working on projects such as the Repair of
Colwick Sluices in Nottingham.
We carried out extensive repair work on these sluices including replacing the Lifting Beams and Walkways and Repairs to the gates.
Located two and half miles down stream of Trent Bridge the sluices contain 6 40ft wide steel lifting-gates, each 16ft deep.
