MRC Multi Rail Clamp

The MRC is designed to facilitate the fast and safe bulk handling of rail sections. The clamps are used in pairs and retain the rail (or conductor/transfer section) in the base flange to base flange position, thus eliminating the necessity of levering rails into position when stowing or fastening downon wagons.The clamp is of modular design in two parts. The top part off the clamp is a scissor mechanism that is connected to the lower comb section,which is interchangeable. The MRC can be fitted with an automatic open/close device if required.

The anchor can be used inthe left or right hand operation, and is fitted with spring operated lockstops. The device is particularly useful in restricted spaces such as tunnels.

The clamps are used in pairs and retain the rail sections rigidly in the flange toe to flange toe position, thus eliminating the necessity of levering rails into position whens towing or fastening down on wagons. Rails are locked on to the clamp by swivelling feet thatlocate under the rail-head,and the top clam pbody that rotates in a camaction pressing a hard rubberlined horizontal curved beam onto the top of the rail-head. The rubber lined contact beam prevents marking or damage to the rail-head.

The CR is designed tol ift single rails securely and safely. The clamp is designed to fit most types of rail section sizes currently in use. The CR is locked on to the rail via a lever operated spring mechanism. The narrow profile enables easy attachment to rails when they are stacked. For long rails it is recommended to use clamps suspended from a lifting beam. The CR is also available with a chain and lifting eye.

RP Rail Pulling Clamp

The Camlok Rail Pulling Screw cam Clamp is designed to fit to most rail sections currently in use. The clamp is attached to the web of the rail by turning by hand the screw shaf tmechanism. The end of the screw shaft has hardened steel circular teeth. The opposing pad also has circular hardened steel teeth. The shaft is supported on a bearing that allows a high degree of angular movement. The thrust(compressive load transmitted by the screwed shaft) is resisted by a ball-bearing seated in a cupped bearing plate within the clamp body. When alateral load is applied to the clamp,the pad rotates in a cam action and grips the rail web securely.
